Our Spiral Feeding Conveyor, also known as a Screw Feeder or Auger Conveyor, is a highly efficient and reliable conveying system designed to move bulk powder and granular materials in a controlled, continuous flow. Made of high-quality 304 or 316 stainless steel, it is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, and agricultural industries.
This spiral conveyor is ideal for feeding materials into processing or packaging machines, such as powder filling machines, mixers, grinders, and capsule fillers. It can be custom-designed for various feeding heights, angles, and capacities, and is available in single-screw or twin-screw configurations to suit different material types.
The enclosed design ensures dust-free, hygienic, and contamination-free operation, meeting GMP and food-grade standards. The spiral feeding conveyor can also be equipped with a vibration hopper, level sensor, or frequency control to automate and stabilize the feeding process.
The spiral feeding conveyor operates using a rotating screw shaft inside a tightly sealed tube or trough. When the screw rotates, the materials are pushed forward along the axis of the screw due to the helical flight movement. This principle allows for precise, continuous, and even feeding of powder or granules from the feed hopper to the destination (e.g., a hopper, filling machine, or mixer).
The speed and direction of feeding can be adjusted by controlling the motor, and reverse feeding is possible if needed. The entire system can be inclined, horizontal, or vertical, depending on layout and feeding requirements.
